Been listening to Nick Cave's - Murder Ballads for the first time in years. Y'know, if you cut Stagger Lee & O'Malley's it's a really strong album. They're alright enough songs, but they stick out, and really just drag the album down for me. Here's something I didn't know. Warren Ellis is part of "The Moron Tabernacle Choir" on The Curse of Millhaven. Ellis is an interesting example of recurring thread. He's a guy who I liked a lot before I knew he was. I was exposed to a bunch of his work, because he was interacting with other people I like. For example I picked up Sugarvirus, because I was a fan of John Bolton's paintings. I didn't even know Ellis wrote it until about 2 months ago. As I go through old liner notes and comics I wonder who has been with me for years, without me ever realizing it.
