Interesting - to me - discussion over on ToyDX about whether or not people are still collecting and why.

A couple folks, like me, are pretty much out of the game. And there's a full range in between.

I'm a little interested to see if the bottom drops out of the "collectibles" market.


Look at recently sold out SV-51. Yes it's amazing, it's also $220. That's $83 more than a similarly sized Valkyrie was a few years years ago. Even with Super/Strike parts a VF-1* was considerably cheaper. I know plastic is made from oil, but wowzers, I don't think the price of oil can account for the full rise in sticker shock.

FCC from 2000B: Billing, Privacy, or Service Quality Complaint.

True to my word I called up Verizon today and yelled at people. I still don't have my check. But yelling "WHY SHOULD I BELIEVE YOU?!" At some call center wage slave made me feel much better. He deserved it, he was lying to me. No apologies this time. So I yelled my way up the food chain and was promised, again, that they had corrected my address, again, and, again, I'd have a check in 2-3 weeks.

I don't believe them. And I don't particularly care.

I filled out form 2000B. And will continue to submit it on a weekly basis until I get my check.

Your the Feds problem now assholes.

Now to go yell at truckers.
